UNAJE Mission Australia

In the Libertador Hall of the San Martín Palace, the first commercial mission to Australia was launched, which will take place from October 27 to November 7.

Participated as speakers, Ambassador Gustavo Martino of the National Directorate for International Economic Promotion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship; Noel Campbell, Ambassador of Australia in Argentina and Honorary President of AusCham; Diego Temperley, President of AusCham; José Méndez Acosta and Esteban Lancieri, both from UNAJE, organizer of the mission.

"Investments have already been made in the country for US $ 1 billion in mining, tourism, agriculture and renewable energy, and given the high interest in local lithium production, this figure will increase at least 50% in the short term, thanks to Argentina's high visibility in Australian businessmen, AusCham joins this first commercial mission, led by UNAJE, with the objective of capitalizing on these potentialities, "said Temperley. "I celebrate with passion and optimism this initiative that maximizes the commercial opportunities that began with the opening of the Argentine economy. Australia and Argentina are natural partners in areas as agroindustry, mining, energy and education. And each country can serve as a platform to penetrate the emerging markets of Latin America and Asia Pacific, "commented Noel Campbell, Australian Ambassador to Argentina and Honorary President of AusCham.
